Last updated: August 11, 2026
01
Purpose of these Guidelines
ROOMCOLLE is designed for organizing, preserving, discovering, and sharing collectible items and their stories.
These Guidelines apply to usernames, profiles, Showcase information, item details, photographs, notes, links, Favorites, COLLEBUD activity, and other content or conduct on ROOMCOLLE.
02
Accurate collection information
Describe items honestly and as accurately as reasonably possible.
Do not knowingly provide false or misleading information about an item’s identity, authenticity, ownership, condition, origin, quantity, status, history, or value.
Sources should describe where an item came from as honestly as possible. Estimated and Recommended Values should be presented as estimates rather than guaranteed market prices.
03
Identity and impersonation
Your unique @username is your primary public identity on ROOMCOLLE.
Do not impersonate another collector, individual, organization, shop, creator, manufacturer, or brand.
Do not use profile information, photographs, descriptions, or links in a way that falsely suggests an official relationship, endorsement, ownership, or authorization.
04
Photographs and intellectual property
Upload photographs and other materials only when you created them, own the necessary rights, have permission to use them, or are otherwise legally allowed to share them.
Photographs of items in your possession are generally preferred because they help other collectors understand the actual condition and history of the item.
- Do not upload copyrighted photographs copied from another collector, shop, website, catalog, or social-media account without permission.
- Do not remove or hide another person’s watermark to present their work as your own.
- Do not use ROOMCOLLE to distribute unauthorized scans, books, artwork, software, video, music, or other protected material.
05
Counterfeit and unlawful items
Do not use ROOMCOLLE to promote, advertise, distribute, or arrange transactions involving illegal items.
Counterfeit, replica, reproduction, fan-made, customized, or unofficial items must not be presented as genuine or officially licensed.
Where relevant, clearly describe an item’s unofficial or reproduced nature so other people are not misled.
06
Unsafe and restricted content
Content must not encourage violence, criminal activity, dangerous misuse, self-harm, exploitation, or conduct that may cause serious harm.
- Illegal weapons, explosives, prohibited drugs, stolen goods, and other unlawful materials are not permitted.
- Instructions intended to help people evade law enforcement, security controls, or legal restrictions are not permitted.
- Historical, documentary, artistic, or educational collection content may be reviewed in context and may still be restricted when necessary.
07
Harassment, hate, and exploitation
Do not threaten, harass, shame, stalk, intimidate, or encourage abuse against another person.
Content that attacks or dehumanizes people based on protected characteristics is not permitted.
Sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate content, and any sexual content involving minors are strictly prohibited.
08
Personal and sensitive information
Do not publish another person’s private or sensitive information without permission.
Note and any Source you provide may appear on the public item page. Do not use these fields to store passwords, payment information, home addresses, identification numbers, private contact details, or other sensitive information. Purchase Price and Purchase Date are owner-only records, but they should still contain only information needed for your collection.
09
Spam and manipulation
ROOMCOLLE should not be used for repetitive advertising, irrelevant promotion, deceptive links, automated spam, or manipulation of discovery features.
- Do not create duplicate items or accounts primarily to gain visibility.
- Do not artificially manipulate search results, Favorites, COLLEBUD relationships, or other activity signals.
- Do not attempt to bypass anti-bot checks, duplicate-prevention controls, rate limits, or other security measures.
- Do not use automated or high-volume COLLEBUD activity to spam, intimidate, monitor, or repeatedly target another collector.
- A COLLEBUD relationship is not proof that an account, collector, item, or external transaction is authentic, safe, or endorsed by ROOMCOLLE.
- Do not use item descriptions or notes primarily to redirect visitors to unrelated products or services.
10
Transactions and external links
ROOMCOLLE is not a marketplace and does not verify or guarantee transactions, item ownership, Sources, authenticity, or Recommended Values.
Do not describe ROOMCOLLE as a seller, broker, payment provider, authenticator, escrow service, or guarantor.
External links must not lead to malware, phishing, fraud, illegal goods, or deceptive services.
11
Moderation and enforcement
ROOMCOLLE may review reported or potentially harmful content and consider its purpose, context, severity, and risk.
Depending on the situation, ROOMCOLLE may reduce visibility, remove content, restrict features, suspend an account, preserve relevant records, or terminate access.
Content or pages may also be excluded from advertising even when they remain available on ROOMCOLLE, because advertising providers may apply separate or stricter monetization requirements.
Serious violations may result in immediate action. Repeated lower-level violations may also lead to stronger restrictions.
12
Reporting content
When a ROOMCOLLE contact or reporting channel becomes available, you may use it to report content that appears to violate these Guidelines.
Reports should identify the relevant item, account, or link and explain the concern as clearly as possible.
Submitting a report does not guarantee removal. ROOMCOLLE will review available information and determine an appropriate response.
13
Changes to these Guidelines
These Guidelines may be updated as ROOMCOLLE develops, new risks emerge, or legal and operational requirements change.
The latest update date will appear at the top of this page.
